Principal

Ryan is a Principal with more than 21 years of stormwater management and water resource engineering experience. Ryan focuses on providing our clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions and understands the importance of keeping a project on time through permit coordination and scheduling. His experience includes working with private developers, local municipalities, and state and federal agencies.

Ryan specializes in urban hydrology, dynamic analysis, floodplain reclamation, river and bridge hydraulics, detention design, dam breach analysis, erosion studies, and stream restoration. He is an expert user of HEC-1, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, InfoWorks, and ArcGIS. He has also taught classes for floodplain administrators, senior staff, and young engineers on subjects including urban hydrology, dynamic modeling, and floodplain reclamation. In addition, he has served as an expert witness in support of legal cases related to water resources.

Ryan is also involved with enterprise GIS and GIS database analysis and development. He is an expert in developing tools and methods for the implementation of GIS applications. He brings an engineer’s perspective to the project through many years of experience utilizing GIS in standard design and analysis.
